What is the definition of capital market?

Often, capital market refers to the structured market for trading stocks and bonds. Examples are the New York Stock Exchange, the American Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and the New York Bond Exchange.

However, capital market can also include less structured markets such as private placements for stocks, bonds, and other debt.

Hello, Thanks for sending some information bout accounting. I appreciated it much for it helps me a lot on my job.
Anyway, i would like to ask one question which made me confused. Is the Inventory provision recorded on the Income statement? or On balanced sheet. As inventory a/c is being an asset so what is inventory provision?

Please help me solving my problem.

    Thank you in advanced.

It is true that inventory is an asset like debtors or any other asset. It is equally true that inventory provision should be recorded in the income statement as an adjustment for any loss which may be incurred as a result of deterioration or distruction of your inventory.
