Can I take the CPA Exam with a bachelor’s degree?
To be eligible for taking the CPA Exam you must meet the requirements of the board of accountancy in the U.S. state (or jurisdiction) in which you plan to take the CPA Exam.
Most states require CPA Exam candidates to have a minimum of 150 college credits including specified accounting and business courses and to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a college or university approved by the state’s board of accountancy.
You can learn more about the specific requirements for sitting for the CPA Exam by going to the CPA Requirements section of AccountingCoach’s Accounting Career Center.
